"We’re stoked to introduce our new 'Suffering Banana' mug, lovingly hand-crafted in Eugene, Oregon by the immensely talented VanTiki. A bushel of 150 of these beauties were picked for our big 6th Anniversary Party next Saturday, each of them hand-numbered, with a Chiquita-inspired 'sticker' fired into the mug itself (Henrik’s genius idea, with logo assist by Scott Sugiuchi).

Thanks to the glaze wizardry of VanTiki, our bushel of banana mugs includes a few under-ripe and over-ripe ones. Ten of each, in fact, randomly interspersed among the run of 150. You won’t actually know if you’ve gotten one until you open the box, but that’s part of the fun!

Here are the details. We’ll be releasing the first 100 mugs at our 6th Anniversary Party next Saturday when we open at 5:00 p.m., $185 each, strict limit of one per guest. If you pull a rare ripeness at the party and prefer the yellow, we’ll allow an exchange, but not vice versa.

Then, on Monday, February 14, we’ll be listing the remaining 50 mugs and any leftovers in our online shop, $225 each, limit one per person and household, with our usual anti-flipping policy in effect."

This is a tiki mug shaped like one of the signature tiki carvings at Cane Tiki Room.

This first edition sold out on 10/26/2022 and the second edition produced was in blue and released on December 12th, 2022.

Tonga Hut released this coconut shaped mug at the Bahi Hut’s Tiki Fever event in Sarasota, Florida. Tiki Fever was held September 30 to October 3, 2021. Sculpted by John Mulder and made by Eekum Bookum. A brown mug with white interior and "Tonga Hut" in white letters on the front. The mug holds 8 ounces.

This all-black handled mug is of a woman's head, wearing a collar and a tall headdress.

Tiki Farm manufactured this design in 2012. Later editions are similar but appear to have been manufactured elsewhere, perhaps in Thailand.

Earlier versions are less detailed, and have a shorter headdress.

*At Trader Vic’s, the Trader Vic’s Coffee Grog is made with freshly brewed coffee, Overproof Rum, Grand Marnier, double cream, coconut cream, orange and lemon peel and cinnamon stick for garnish.

This is a tribute mug produced by Bamboo Ben to celebrate his grandfather, Eli Hedley.

Eli ran his Island Trade Store on Beach Blvd in Midway City in the 1950s-1960s, and the tiki this mug is based on originated there and was later sold to Trader Mort's Liquor & Deli where it has since become iconic .

This is the first mug in the Trade Store Collection. Bamboo Ben has plans to produce the other three tiki mugs that originally stood alongside this one at the Island Trade Store.

The mug comes with a photo of Eli’s store, pre Trader Mort’s, with the four tikis lined up.

This mug was made by John Mulder at Eekum Bookum and was limited to 100 mugs. The first 50 mugs were sold at Tiki Tom’s in Walnut Creek, CA on January 22, 2022 and the other 50 mugs were sold at the Bamboo Club in Long Beach, CA on February 5, 2022.

This is a mug depicting Cthulhu, an ancient evil god pulled from the pages of H.P. Lovecraft. Cthulhu is a giant creature with octopus-like head and bat-like wings. This full color version has a fired on decal applied over a low relief sculpt, giving some extra dimension to Skinner's original art. Top and bottom of the stein have a matte black glaze. This limited edition comes with a limited edition pewter lid and was available for pre-order.
