This double-sided mug reproduces the fronts of two individual tiki mugs previously made by Eekum Bookum and based on vintage art prints designed by August Holland (The Pearl of Wisdom and A Fire Within/The Fire God).

This large white ceramic ashtray has cigarette rests on three sides and features a cowboy style monkey under a coconut tree with a rope lasso.

Marked "Kay Mallek Studios" on reverse. Likely an early studio piece before her studio adopted its roadrunner logo stamp.

This smiling tiki is holding a cheeseburger and a plumeria flower. Made by Tiki Farm for the Cheeseburger in Paradise restaurant chain that thrived from 2002-2020 but is no longer running.

Named for the Jimmy Buffet song, the chain had a Key West atmosphere and aesthetic.

This was a test glaze 1/1 mug.

The final glaze chosen was brown and that same mug with different markings was issued for their locations in Waikiki, Las Vegas, Maui, and Wailea.

Test glazes are usually held by the manufacturer as samples but are sometimes sold or given as gifts afterwards. This one was sold in 2010 by Tiki Farm with a signed authenticity card by Holden Westland.

This is a decanter shaped like a brown skull missing its lower jaw, decorated with fanciful curlicue designs, labeled "RUM" in red letters on forehead, and with a cork stopper.

It is a Chinese mass-produced item carried by many storefronts and distributors, not exclusive or bearing any maker marks.

This version is branded on the reverse for the Retro Cocktail Hour, a radio show on NPR that originates from Lawrence, Kansas.

The Diver Duke Diving Helmet mug was manufactured by Eekum Bookum for The Reef in Palm Springs. The mug is indeed shaped like a very realistic upside down diving helmet. It has an octopus, shells, and other undersea life encircling it. It is said Duke was on his thirteenth deep sea exploration off Anacapa Island, searching for the wreck of the lost Spanish treasure ship, “La Amadarita”. Accompanied by his faithful fish friend, Gary, Duke descended to the ocean floor and, as the thick kelp forest parted, the elusive wreck was before him. Making his way through the ship’s barnacle-encrusted hull, Duke suddenly felt the grip of the ship’s giant octopus guardian, who began pulling on his helmet. When Duke did not return to The Reef bar that night, his many friends sent out a search party. In the hull of the Amadarita, all that was found was Duke’s helmet, with Gary waiting by it.

Drink special for the Diver Duke Mug is the “Treasure of La Amadarita” (by Brandon Glass) consisting of 1 and 1/2 oz Doctor Bird Jamaican Rum, 1 oz El Dorado 5 year rum, 1/2 oz Lemon juice, 1/2 oz Grapefruit juice, 1 oz Honey Syrup, 3/4 oz Banana Liquor, and 1/4 oz allspice pimento dram.
