Tiki Mugs
Mongoose Mug - First Edition - Black & Green - by Tank Standing Buffalo & Tiki Farm - for Wilfred's Lounge
in 0 collections
From Wilfred's:
"The Mongoose Mug is the second in our series of Hawaiian animals (the first being the Manta Ray mug) and was inspired by 'Rikki-Tikki-Tavi'— a short story in the 1894 collection The Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling about the adventures of a valiant young grey mongoose.
This hand-crafted original design was envisioned by Wilfred’s Lounge Proprietor, tiki enthusiast, and Wilfred’s nephew Nat Komes, designed by Tank, and made by the world-famous Tiki Farm.
This one-of-kind mug captures the epic battle between the mongoose and the snake on a lava rock background. The matte finish highlights the red eye of the doomed snake. A cocktail in this mug will certainly deliver a powerful bite!"
The Mongoose is Loose cocktail is crafted with vanilla infused rum, Copalli white rum, ginger liqueur, Strega, hibiscus, mint, lime, and fire tincture.

Skull Doll Tiki Glass - by Sun Gkotta
aka Unauthorized Bone Collector Glass - by Sun Gkotta in 0 collections
This mug was originally designed by Flounder (Bone Collector Mug) and is a mug shaped like a Tiki inside of a topless skull base, holding a bone, and decorated with bones and a skull around top of head.
The design was later issued in an unauthorized release by a Chinese company, Mornsungifts as "Skull Doll" and this glass appears to be a reproduction of that unauthorized reproduction, but issued in clear glass instead of ceramic.
Sold in a 2-pack for $20 with "Owl Tiki Glass" (actually an unauthorized version of AtomicTonyTiki's "Mana Mana" Tiki Mug).
Sun Gkotta is a Chinese manufacturer apparently based out of Guangdong. Like Mornsungifts which preceded it and also made unauthorized copies of this design, these "Chinese Trading Companies" spring up on wholesale sites like Ali Baba and then find Western distributors. They are especially prevalent on Amazon.
