The design of this mug is borrowed from Thor Heyerdahl's Kon Tiki boat, which used the design of a South American sun god, Kon Tiki. Forehead has three sunray-like dashes, lips are two horizontal lines. Marked "Kon Tiki Tucson AZ" on back. The glaze is green.

This is a mug shaped like a Tiki with an X pattern on face, long almond shaped eyes, a bow-shaped grimace lined with teeth, and a base modeled to look like the exterior of the Kon-Tiki itself. Designed by Doug Horne and sculpted by John Mulder. Available in three glaze colors (50 of each): #1-#50 in Orange interior, #51-#100 in Green interior , and #101 -#150 in Blue interior. The Orange interior mugs were only available with the purchase of a V.I.P. ticket.

This is a mug shaped like a Tiki with an X pattern on face, long almond shaped eyes, a bow-shaped grimace lined with teeth, and a base modeled to look like the exterior of the Kon-Tiki itself. Designed by Doug Horne and sculpted by John Mulder. The regular edition was available in three glaze colors (50 of each): #1-#50 in Orange interior, #51-#100 in Green interior , and #101 -#150 in Blue interior. The Orange interior mugs were only available with the purchase of a V.I.P. ticket. This version is the Super Dooper Limited Edition and is limited to five mugs glazed in full multicolor.
Kon Tiki Tucson Milan Guanko Face Mug in Matte Antiqued Ivory

This mug depicts a Tiki with downtuned mouth, a long rectangular nose, and upturned eyes. It is glazed in a wipe away matte glaze for an antiqued ivory (beige) look with some brown around low relief details of sculpt. It is one of The Gang of Three from The Kon Tiki which includes a Milan Guanko Mask bucket mug and Milan Guanko Head mug also designed by The Pizz. All three mugs were based from original Milan Guanko carvings by The Pizz and manufactured by Tiki Farm.

This Tiki has a long headdress and is sticking out its tongue. The mug is glazed white with a green overglaze to pick out the details of the sculpt. It is one of The Gang of Three from The Kon Tiki which includes a Milan Guanko Face mug and Milan Guanko Mask bucket mug also designed by The Pizz. All three mugs were based from original Milan Guanko carvings by The Pizz and manufactured by Tiki Farm.

Kon-Tiki Coffee Mug by Palissy Royal Worcester Green

This green coffee mug is one in a much larger set of dishes in the "Kon-Tiki" line by Palissy Royal Worcester. The design features a stylized pattern of shields and spears. There were lots of different pieces: coffee and tea pots, plates, creamers, cake stands, pin dishes, mugs, cups, saucers, etc. There is also an identical set but in pinkish brown (taupe). Probably made in the 1950s, after the Kon-Tiki craze hit the popular consciousness. The saucer that accompanies the mug measures 12.5 cm/5" across.

This standing Tiki has a long headdress and is wearing a clawed necklace. It is sheltered by a cobra. The mug is glazed in a very light celadon green. It appears Milan Guanko inspired and also has skulls and tropical foliage around the sides and back. There is also a version in iron oxide brown. 500 were issued in each color glaze.
