This is a mug shaped like a drum from Papua New Guinea. It has a mask on the front. There are other editions of this mug, including a regular brown edition, an edition in gloss brown with some cold-painted details, and an edition of more elaborate custom mugs (some of which come detailed with real animal skin stretched over the top and trimmed with other natural materials). The La Mariana edition comes in different glaze colors as well (beige, green, blue, etc...).

Peanut Tiki Mug Purple

This is a modernist/expressionist interpretation of the classic Paul Marshall Products Peanut Mug. One eye is larger than the other and a slight bend on the mug gives the illusion of movement. This first glaze edition of the design has a red glaze that has been wiped off the top areas of bisque but left inside all of the crevices and recesses to make the sculpt really "pop". This second edition in purple uses the same wiped glaze finish.
McDonald's Hawaii Souvenir Racing Outriggers Glass

This is a loball or double rocks glass depicting several men racing outriggers. It is part of a series of 4 glasses from the "Hawaiians and Their Sea" series put out for the McDonald's chain in Hawaii around 1980 or so. The glass is slightly smoky and the graphics are in white. Marked "L" for Libbey on bases. The set was sold boxed together and marked "Pacific Isle Packaging Inc."
