This Tiki mug has large slanted coffee-bean-shaped eyes and an open, toothless, mouth. Inspired by a Tiki at La Mariana. A friend of Gecko's said there was a similar one in the back of the old Chicago Kona Kai bar (carved by Leroy Schmaltz of Oceanic Arts and pictured on page 142 of The Book of Tiki). So he named the design for Kona Kai. Made in Oahu, Hawaii. The mug has a matching shot as well. This is the green edition for La Mariana.

The Blue Lady is based on a 1950 painting by Vladimir Tretchikoff. It became one of the world's most popular paintings when made into a print in the 1960s and 1970s. The painting was of an unknown Chinese girl and was best known for the unusual skin tone used for her face (a blue-green color). Recently, the model for Tretchikoff's painting was found to be a then 17-year-old Monika Sing-Lee (now Monika Pon), who was then a single girl working in her uncle's laundry in Cape Town.

This mug was sculpted by Kirby and manufactured by Taboo Island. The original Big Mo is the Moai carving just within the front door of the Tonga Hut. The mug is a faithful replica. The back of the mug reads "Tonga Hut" in vertical letters and gives the opening date of the bar, "1958." This Butternut Squash & Acorn Brown version was limited to 25 mugs.

This is a ceramic ashtray from Old Oak Rum in the shape of a rum barrel. It has two slots on each side for cigarettes. The barrel is made of brown glazed ceramic and both sides read "OLD OAK RUM - Good Taste" in white lettering. This piece measures 5" wide by 3" deep, by 3.5" tall.

This is a classic Ku dredged from the bottom of the sea with barnacles, brain coral, and a fishing net still wrapped around him. Concept by Martin Cate and sculpted by Crazy Al. This is the open edition made in a light cream with a light green overglaze. Available only at Smuggler's Cove. Crazy Al also produced 48 artist proof versions of this mug in individualized multi-colored glazes.
