Oni is Mr. G's Tikified version of the Japanese gargoyle found atop many a home in Japan, used to ward-off evil spirits. The mug's head is crowned with two small horns and the mouth is open to show several pointed teeth. Oni is glazed in a green-blue dual tone. Width is 4.5" including side pieces, but opening and cylinder of main mug is 3" diameter.

The bottom portion of the shaker is metal, which is covered by a slightly off white rubber that stops just before the lip of the shaker. In addition, there is a glass top (pint glass) to complement the shaker. Included on the glass are four recipes that alternate in white and blue. The recipes are for: Cosmopolitan, Dirty Mojito, Millionaire Mojito & Paradise Punch.

This Tiki mug has large slanted coffee-bean-shaped eyes and an open, toothless, mouth. Inspired by a Tiki at La Mariana. A friend of Gecko's said there was a similar one in the back of the old Chicago Kona Kai bar (carved by Leroy Schmaltz of Oceanic Arts and pictured on page 142 of The Book of Tiki). So he named the design for Kona Kai. Made in Oahu, Hawaii. The mug has a matching shot as well. This is the red edition for La Mariana.
