Maka Le'a was manufactured by Munktiki. The tiki is sort of a squat little guy with stubby limbs, tiny hands and feet, large closed eyes, a long narrow nose and a wide protruding mouth. Maka Le'a means twinkling or flirty eyes in Hawaiian. The first 50 of this run were made in a light brown. Then, the mold was set aside until 2013 when the second 50 of this run were produced in the buyer's choice of one of 6 different color ways (including #1 Wet Wood, #2 Raw Lava, #3 Coconut , #4 Lime, #5 Orange, and #6 Yellow).
