Kapriman was designed and produced by Cass McClure aka Ocea Otica. The design is based on a spirit carving from Kapriman in Papua New Guinea. The mug has large eyes made up of concentric circles, a long nose with broad nostrils and five large protruding teeth. The glaze is a rich toffee brown with specks, the interior is the same color, with specks of blacks, yellows, and blue-ish greens that comprise the over all brown color.
