Forbidden Island Tiki Crate Statue

The Forbidden Island Tiki Crate Mug was created by Wendy Cevola (aka: danlovestikis) for Forbidden Island's 5th Anniversary, and was sold at the anniversary party April 22, 2011 at the F.I. in Alameda. The mug is shaped like a shipping crate with one corner broken off to expose a Tiki inside. The set of sixty regular edition mugs are primarily dark gray with an ice blue packing around the Tiki inside. Cevola created an accompanying statue (edition of 50) with a brown crate and fire red packing inside. She refers to the mug and statue together as the "Fire and Ice" series. Additionally, there are a number of Artist Proofs of the F.I. Tiki Crate Mug with a rainbow of glaze combinations.

This mug features an angry Tiki face with large teeth. It is a recreation of Frankoma's War God sculpted by Wendy Cevola and cast and glazed by Gecko. This limited edition of 25 has a custom cracked finish white glaze.

Ku Ku Kachoo was designed by Squid and manufactured by Gecko'z South Sea Arts. The tiki is a full-body Ku. He has long streaming eyes, a deep dogbone-shaped mouth and an upturned chin. This is the red edition that is only sold in Hawaii.

The Smokin' Joe ashtrays follow in the wake of the extremely popular Smokin' Drinkin' 4-pack manufactured by Tiki Farm and designed by Von Franco. The design is of a Tiki, Smokin' Joe, who, like the name says, is smokin' a stogie. The design shows only Joe's head which has sharply slanted eyes. The Smokin' Joe ashtray was manufactured in a "Purple Haze" edition and a "Mellow Yellow" glaze edition. In both, the base glaze is washed-over with mother-of-pearl. Each ashtray has three cigarette rests and one larger cigar rest.

This Bumatay Tiki Candle Lamp is 14 inches tall from base to top of glass chimney. The complete lamp has a metal base, metal chimney holder, and a natural fiber shade. The pink version of this lamp was used at The Tahitian in Studio City and probably at its sister location in Pasadena as well (the green version was probably used at the Tropicana Lanes and other tiki locations). The green variant is pictured on page 152 of The Book of Tiki.

This Tiki has crossed eyes and rubs his hands together mischievously. He is the original eBachelorpad.com mascot (1999) and preceded the formation of Tiki Farm by Holden Westland. Partiki is the 1st ever Tiki brought to web-life by Tiki Farm and is featured on several of their Tiki Theater animated shorts online. A design collaboration between Charlie Rubel and Holden.

The Lucky Tiki was designed by Crazy Al evans and was based on one of his original carvings. The tiki is holding a stack of four skulls and has a pineapple on his forehead and a horseshoe on his chin. His eyes are squinted shut and his mouth is open exposing his teeth and tongue. This is a limited glaze edition in sea-foam delft.
