Tiki Mugs
La Mariana Kona Kai Shot Mug
in 7 collections
This Tiki shot mug has large slanted coffee-bean-shaped eyes and an open, toothless, mouth. Inspired by a Tiki at La Mariana. A friend of Gecko's said there was a similar one in the back of the old Chicago Kona Kai bar (carved by Leroy Schmaltz of Oceanic Arts and pictured on page 142 of The Book of Tiki). So he named the design for Kona Kai. Made in Oahu, Hawaii. The shot has a matching mug as well.

Ob
in 8 collections
Ob is a highly stylized interpretation of Tiki with a whitish glazed face against otherwise brown exterior glaze. This Tiki has a triangular nose, black right eye (empty socket for left) and black mouth, and is somewhat reminiscent of Tiki Bob but with a modernist/surrealist twist that elongates and stretches the facial proportions.
Astro New Britain

This mug is generally Moai shaped and has a large triangular nose, a squarish mouth, and sleepy looking eyes with drooping upper lids. Exterior is red with an overglaze of light blue that picks out the detail in cracks and crevices. Mug is triangular shaped, making it hard to see details of face head-on (like looking down the blade of an axe).

MyT Little Tiki Mug
in 17 collections
This is a square-mouthed Tiki with spiral eyes and a triangular nose suggested by simple ridge-lined facial designs. The inspiration for the MyT Little Tiki mug was Clarita’s “Tiki #6” bamboo carving. Clarita carved this particular design as a wedding gift for her friends Marcela (“M”) and (“y” in Spanish) Tim (“T”) Harrison… hence the name “MyT”. This high-fire stoneware glazed mug contains hues of rich purple, black and hints of burnt orange.
Big Toe Mug Artist Proof
in 10 collections
Full body Tiki mug with open mouth, slanted coffee-bean-shaped eyes, and brow line incised with repeated triangle pattern. This piece was designed with vintage Hawaiian Island Tikis from the 60's in mind. Sculpted by Squid. This limited edition of 25 brown & turquoise artist proofs have open mouths that show the interior glaze.
