This brown mug was originally designed by Marcus Pizutti and manufactured by Tiki Farm for Trader Vic's in Los Angeles, CA. However, this version is a later reproduction with less detail and created by an unknown manufacturer for the Trader Vic's Bangkok. The tiki is a full body Ku with an upturned chin, football-shaped eyes and a tall headdress.

The Waikiki Tiki Mug With Cold Paint

A standing Ku mug with red, white, and black cold paint details. The mug itself is a light brown and fog-cutter-shaped. Back has a yellow lei of flowers and reads: "The Waikiki Washington D.C." Matchbook addresses show the location of The Waikiki to be identical to that of the second Luau Hut location opened in Washington D.C. The Waikiki was a predecessor and was converted into the second Luau Hut location. This mug is not to be confused with the bas-relief mug from this same location that has a similar design with no cold paint.
