This is a mug shaped like a standing Tiki within a coil of nautical rope. He is a classic design with figure-eight shaped mouth. Similar standing figures with slightly shorter headdresses were produced by Coco Joe's or later produced as "Brady Bunch Idol" necklaces. This mug has a highly detailed wood-grain glaze. Made on Maui.
Unauthorized Dancing Tiki Mug

This is a mug shaped like a happy dancing Tiki holding a skull. The original design was sculpted in mahogany by AlohaStation (Tom Fowner) for the 2007 Hukilau and was 13" tall. The mug, however, is an unauthorized version of this design and was produced in several (at least 3) glaze color combinations by a Russian manufacturer. This is the classic Paul Marshall Products "peanut" lamp design, in tiki form. White porcelain with brown ring at top. Tiki has a mouth shaped like a sideways peanut, eyes like almonds, with pupils, gently recessed eyebrows, hands on belly. Black metal handle attached to lift the hot cylinder up and down from lit candle inside.

Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum Shot Glass

This shot glass was a promotional item for Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum. It is marked "The Original Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum" on the front. Norman Keith Collins (January 14, 1911 - June 12, 1973) was a prominent American tattoo artist, famous for his tattooing of sailors; he was also known as "Sailor Jerry." In 1999, Hardy and Malone partnered with a small independent Philadelphia clothing company to establish Sailor Jerry Ltd., which owns Collins' letters, art, and flash, and produces clothing and an idiosyncratic collection of other items, such as ash trays, sneakers, playing cards, churchkeys and shot glasses. Sailor Jerry Ltd. also produces a 92 proof spiced Navy rum.

This mug is shaped like one of the little lava people, the A'a'po'e, who help to keep Pele from blowing her stack by cooling her with their everflowing lava. This mug resembles the fountain statue on the left as you enter Hale Pele, with its bowl of cooling lava held in both hands. The Tiki has slanted coffee bean-shaped eyes, a slotted mouth with small tongue protruding, and spiral designs on chest and legs. This Open Edition comes in a sea green wipe-away glaze and is from the Munktiki Imports line (from Fuhua Porcelain Factory of Dehua, China). This is the second color-way of the Open Edition. The first one was in coconut brown. There is also a Limited Edition (in several color ways) and a Super Limited Edition (that has a tri-color gradation from top to bottom of yellow, then orange, then red). The mug's signature drink, the A'a'po'e, is described as: "an amazingly quenching and tasty blend of pot-still Jamaican rum, piney gin, spices, and tropical fruits."
