This is a clear glass goblet with red stem used at the Kowloon restaurant in Saugus, MA. It is marked "Kowloon, Saugus, MA" on front with image of the Kowloon's A-Frame building. This same design was also issued in cobalt blue with white lettering, a blue stem with clear bowl, and a white frosted version with blue lettering.

Beachbum Berry is the author of several books on historic Tiki cocktails, including Intoxica, The Grog Log, Taboo Table, Re-Mixed, and Potions of the Caribbean. The 7-piece set works together to form a long canoe that measures 52" long, 15.75" tall, holds a combined volume of 230 oz, and consists of a stern piece, a bow piece, and 5 middle pieces. The stern (back) and bow (front) pieces hold 40 oz each, good for 2 to 4 people. Each middle piece holds 30 oz, for 1 to 3 people. These sets are also available in a 3 or 5 piece set, and although additional middle pieces can be purchased separately, there will be only 50 bows and sterns issued. Made of stoneware. Modeled after the Waka Tau, or war canoe, used by the Maori people of New Zealand to transport warriors and intimidate their enemies. Several Maori styled tiki carvings along its length and rides on a bed of cresting waves.
