SHAG A Perilous Adventure Glass

The WonderGround Gallery in the Downtown Disney District of Disneyland in Anaheim, California held an artist signing event with Josh Agle on Saturday, July 25th 2015. The event celebrated the diamond anniversary of the Jungle Cruise ride at the Disneyland Park. For this sixtieth year, Shag was commissioned to paint an acrylic on panel piece called A Perilous Adventure. The original painting was used by Disney WonderGround Gallery to produce a range of prints, glasses, and a t-shirt. This glass depicts "A Perilous Adventure" with a Jungle Cruise boat surrounded by crocodiles and a Headhunter with a shield and spear. You can see three of the Headhunter's earlier victims (skulls) on spears. Behind the boat you can see the top portion of the Disneyland castle.
Sea Horrors For Three Dots and a Dash

This is a mug shaped like a sea horse with a skull wrapped up in its tail, red eyes, and marked for Three Dots and a Dash in Chicago, IL. It was issued in either a green or a red/coral glaze.
Though the seahorse may appear as a cute little sea creature, in folklore it actually has a very powerful role. Seahorses represent eternal friendship, good luck, patience and persistence. In Europe, the seahorse carried the souls of deceased sailors, providing them safe passage and protection until they met their final destination.
200 were made in each color-way for a total run of 400 of this design.

Milan Guanko's Kona Gold Tiki mug is inspired by a Tiki that appeared on the television show, Gilligan's Island. This Tiki has coffee bean shaped eyes and rough palm texture at the top of its head as well as the base. This mug was issued in a regular open edition, a limited edition, an Okolemaluna edition, a "bloody" edition, paua shell purple edition, and custom editions. This is the Red Dirt edition in a red dirt brown finish with orange glazed interior.
Chi Chi Palm Springs Glass Green

The Chi Chi opened in 1936 and ceased to be sometime in the 1960s, around 1968 or so. There were two color versions of this glass, a green and an orange version. This is the green. It features the unauthorized art of Edgar Leeteg's Hina Rapa which was originally painted in oil on velvet, portraying a topless wahine wearing a straw hat.
Mai Kai Hukilau 2019 Tiki Mug

Based on an original tiki that can be found in the back offices of the Mai Kai. It is a Marquesan style with rounded head and eyes and small slitted mouth with red tongue visible on inside of mouth. Otherwise mug is brown. Mug comes with a small Papua New Guinea bird drum shot mug and a cocktail light.

This ceramic head mug/pitcher features the "Captain" based on the real life pirate Sir Henry Morgan. The interior extends toward the pointed front brim, making it more like a small pitcher than a mug. Made in Japan. The label was designed by Don Maitz, who is an American science fiction, fantasy, and commercial artist. Although the "Captain" is Maitz's most widely known creation, he is perhaps most notable for twice winning the Hugo Award for Best Professional Artist, science fiction's highest honor for an artist. In 1984, Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum was introduced to the United States. Captain Morgan is, by volume, the second largest brand of spirits in the United States, and the seventh largest worldwide.

This is a mug shaped like a skeletal test pilot figure wearing a leather jacket & helmet and round aviator goggles. Scarf around neck. Glazed in light brown gloss glaze. This was a collaboration with TikiFreek as the "Producer" and seller. Thor did the 3D sculpt of the mug from the photos provided of artwork by Andrew Kolb. LunacyFX out of Florida manufactured the final 3D print and the final mug.
