Mai Tai Fighter Regular Edition
aka Tiki Style Star Wars Tie Fighter in 0 collections
In the Star Wars universe, the tie fighter is an attack spacecraft known for its distinctive "bow tie" shape and twin ion engines. It's a key symbol of the Galactic Empire's military power, primarily serving as a short-range space superiority fighter. While lacking shields and hyperdrives, its speed and agility make it a formidable opponent in combat.
This design by Buzz Rhino represents his first foray into ceramics and he put this design together using an incredible 21-piece mold. The mug resembles a tie fighter if it was put together in cargo cult style by natives from Papua New Guinea. The center portion is shaped like a coconut and it also features a Papua New Guinea mask on one wing, an umbrella on the other, and plenty of bamboo and thatch connective tissue. Measures: 4.5” H x 8” W x 5” D.
