This is a mug shaped like a pirate sitting on a pile of skulls. He is holding a pistol in his right hand and a rum bottle in his left. Glazed in a dark iron oxide brown. While not exclusively a tiki bar, Death & Co does make tiki inspired cocktails. Opened on New Years Eve 2006/07 in Manhattans East Village, Death & Co quickly became a cocktail institution. In 2010, Death & Co won Best American Cocktail Bar and Worlds Best Cocktail Menu at Tales of the Cocktail Spirited awards.
