High Roller Tiki Lounge Mermaid Mug First Edition
aka High Roller Tiki Lounge Mermaid Mug Blue in 14 collections

This is a mug depicting a mermaid holding a pair of dice on front and a pelican on pier pilings on reverse (with dice in his mouth). It is glazed in a wipe-away blue glaze that leaves the relief areas an off-white and the recessed areas a light blue to enhance the details in the sculpt. The mermaid was chosen because Solvang is a Danish founded city and is lavished with Danish architecture and steeped in Danish history and within that history is Danish born Hans Christian Andersens Little Mermaid fairy tale and the Little Mermaid statue sculpted by Edvard Eriksen, located in Copenhagen, Denmark paying tribute to the fairy tale. This mug is used to serve the "Solvang Siren" consisting of White Wine, Lychee Syrup, Blood Orange Bitters, Pasilla Pepper, and Fresh Lime Juice.
