This is a version of the Orchids R-5 tiki mug, with "Hula Hut" in raised letters on the front near the base. The design has a tiki with almond-shaped slanted eyes, and a small mouth full of jagged teeth. Zig zag design along top rim. Comes in both this green glaze and a brown as well. The design was also used in an unmarked version, and versions with "Luau Hut", "Aloha Hut" and "Tiki Hut."

This is one in a set of 7 different frosted orchids hiball glasses put out by Celebrity Cruises. Each one features a different close-up of an orchid flower on the front and the backs feature the same three cocktail recipes (Bon Voyage, Zodiac, and Blue Moon). Celebrity Cruises is a premium cruise line which was founded in 1988 by the Greece-based Chandris Group. In 1997, Celebrity Cruises Ltd. merged with Royal Caribbean International to become Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., which operates Celebrity, Royal Caribbean International, Azamara Club Cruises, Pullmantur Cruises and CDF Croisières de France. The signature "Χ" displayed on the funnel of Celebrity ships is the Greek letter chi, for "Chandris".

Tupapau is inspired by the trophy skulls of both ancestors and enemies of ancient warriors of the Marquesas Islands, predominantly from the island of Nuku Hiva. The warriors would often lash the skulls onto their rope belts and adorn them with elements such as tusks and tapa cloth. Matte wipe brown glaze on exterior to pick out details of sculpt.
