This version of Alec Yuill-Thornton's classic design was updated by Gecko at South Sea Arts. Bob keeps the traditional happy Bob eyes and smile, but this version has a double glaze style with one half in the Sunken Treasure style glaze (encrusted by coral and sea life) and the other half in the Kissed By Pele style glaze (blackened with some liquid lava flowing through).

Kindred is a metal themed bar with a vegan menu, yet they established a "Tiki Night" every Thursday night, called "Permanent Vacation" and released this mug to help celebrate. This version of the mug is a beige sand-colored glaze and is one of two 2018 holiday special editions (the other being "Seer Mint Green").
