"Hello fellow mug collectors! As we begin glazing and shipping mugs for our January preorder we have decided it's time to open the books again. So may I present the newest offering from the little tiki shop in Louisiana.......Bumatay by Oakwash!
Bumatay by Oakwash is a handmade ceramic Tiki mug designed and sculpted by artist Omar Girona. Based on the original design by Andres Bumatay with a slit drum twist. These are fully produced start to finish at our studio in Louisiana. Each mug will have a hand made and aged look. Every mug has individual tool markings for the fresh carved look that defines Oakwash Artwork. This mug has a delivering schedule of Fall 2022. Follow us along on social media to watch your mug get made! We show steps beginning to end. It's a fun process and helps people grow respect and love for the art of making Tiki mugs. Each mug will be individually boxed and shipped separately on duplicate orders for ceramic safety. Shipping For International may incur additional charge during shipping time.

This is the first mug from Tiki Diablo's new line, Tropical Cocktail Mugs.
They feature vintage shark-faced nose art, commonly associated with The Flying Tigers, who were a group of American volunteers with the mission of defending China against Japanese forces in WWII. The shark-faced nose art of the P40 is arguably the most recognized nose art of WWII.
Drum Barrel was released in two colors, green (Torpedo Juice) and gray (Jet Fuel), at the Shipwrecked! event in Marina Del Rey, on April 30th, 2022. The general release was a few days later on the Tiki Diablo Big Cartel website.
The mug sold for $50 and comes with a chrome stirrer and a recipe for Torpedo Juice and Jet Fuel.

A green and white mug featuring a cactus with a Birdman Tiki carved into the front. Design based on the Birdman Tiki, carved by Barney West and erected in 1962, outside of Trader Vic's in Old Town Scottsdale, AZ.
This event mug was issued for the fourth annual Arizona Tiki Oasis, the twin event to the San Diego Tiki Oasis, and held on April 28th-May 1st, 2022. This was held at the Valley Ho resort (est. 1956) in Old Town Scottsdale.
The mug was issued with the "Deluxe Evening Resort Pass" which was a value of $200, and $100 more than the "Regular Evening Resort Pass" without mug, so initial value can be estimated at $100.

Frosted pint glass featuring a tiki version of Stitch making scary hands next to a smiling tiki, on a bed of foliage. Graphic is black, brown, tan, and green. Reads "Disney's Polynesian Resort © Disney". On the bottom is an underlined "21" in raised lettering. Measures 5 ¾” high x 3 ¼” wide. Holds 16 oz.
Disney Mickey Mouse and Friends Volcano Bowl

Huge bowl with volcano insert surrounded by Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy, adorned in island wear. Mickey plays a ukulele, Donald sips a drink, and Goofy lazes with a lei. The bowl is light blue with a lei of multi-colored flowers all around. The volcano insert is removable. While this was likely intended as a chip and dip bowl, it is completely serviceable as a drink bowl.
The bottom reads "© DISNEY CHINA, NOT DISHWASHER SAFE, NOT MICROWAVE SAFE" with a sticker reading "Disney Direct, Overland Park, KS66214". The bottom of the volcano insert has the same information.
Barbie Doll Forgotten Paradise 2020 Convention Mug - White - by Bauer Ceramics

This rendition of the classic Barbie Doll by Mattel was created for the 2020 Barbie Convention in Las Vegas, NV at the Mirage Hotel, from July 8-11, 2020. The theme for this year was "Forgotten Paradise". The convention was cancelled because of COVID but this mug was one of the main draws in the swag bags prepared for those who signed up for the event.
Barbie is dressed in a swimsuit and holding a pair of cat's eye sunglasses, wearing a hibiscus flower in her hair, and more flowers are at her feet.
Designed and sculpted by Denise Saffren.

A tall rectangular mug with stylized symbols in black on an otherwise brown mug.
This mug was created especially for the Waikiki Trader Vic's location, by Polynesian Pottery (which later became Daga). The Tortuga is shown in their menu and the cocktail for it is described as "Rugged but right with rum vermouth, creme de cocoa, and juices."

This is a mug with three stacked heads: a skull at top, a shrunken head in middle, and a tiki head at bottom.
Glazed in a light brown.
Designed by Tiki tOny, sculpted by THOR, manufactured in China, and produced/sold by TikiLand Trading.
TikiLand Trading describes the mug as being sketched in the notebook of an unknown explorer:
"One such artifact was a stack of skulls depicting the three stages of existence, drawn on a cave wall, deep in the jungles of TikiLand."
Haka Warrior Tiki Mug - Blue Edition - by Haven Cove Customs

This is a mug shaped like a full standing Kane/Tiki in haka stance with hands on hips and rippling arm, chest, and back muscles. The mask/tiki head has large circular eyes and a downturned serious haka grimace full of clenched teeth. Large circular Tahitian-style Tiki face tattoo on back. Figure wears only a loincloth.
Produced in one of several color editions for a 48-hour pre-sale (green, blue, red, gray, etc...) and there were also at least 6 differently-colored Artist Proofs that went up for sale at the same time.
From Haven Cove Customs:
"Haka holds roughly 12 ounces. Lava placement will vary with the lava variant."
Haven Cove Customs has pointed out that while they have produced many mugs with different themes, pirate and otherwise, that are generically referred to as "tiki mugs", that this is their first literal tiki mug release.
