Trader Dick's OMC Moai Medium

This moai was produced by Otagiri Mercantile Co for Trader Dick's in Sparks Nevada. Moai is brown and looks fairly true to the Rapa Nui moai. White area near bottom at back is marked "Trader Dick's Sparks Nevada" and the bottom is marked "Made exclusively for John Ascuaga's Nugget Reno Area's Largest".
Islander Headhunter Mug

This headhunter mug was created for the Islander Restaurant in Stockton, California, and has a design that is very similar to the Mr. Bali Hai mug for the Bali Hai Restaurant in San Diego. The glaze is dark brown, and the mug has cold painted eyes, earrings, and bone. The eyes are looking upward on large protruding eyeballs, and the nose is small. Bottom is concave, and marked "Islander Stockton Calif" in black. A similar mug by Orchids of Hawaii has pink on its eyebrows.
Hawaii Kai Crossed Arms Tiki Mug

Tiki made for the Hawaii Kai restaurant in New York City. Rich, yellow-brown glaze. "Hawaii Kai" in raised letters at bottom front. Tiki has very round eyes, like rings. The tiki's arms are crossed and look somewhat like little fans, and the tiki's body has dash-like indentations all over.

This very nice pineapple mug was manufactured by Otagiri for the Islander Restaurant in Stockton, California. The pineapple is well defined and realistic, with shading in the paint, and a bright green leafy top on the lid. Marked "Islander Stockton California" in black on the bottom.
Islander Earring Head Mug

This mug is shaped like a rather asexual looking head with a serene, closed-eyed face and an ornamental collar. The head is shaped like a "V", and has two jug handle-like ears with large white-painted hoop earrings. Marked "Islander Stockton California" in black on bottom. A similar mug can also be found from the Tonga Room in San Francisco.
