Baby Kahuna Gold

One of four mugs offered out of a $20 Munktiki vending machine at the 2005 Tiki Oasis V event in Palm Springs. The other three mugs were the Rum Barrel, Arrrr the Skull & Bones, and Peaty the Parrot, and the four are designed to stack together. Each mug came with a matching pendant, this one was a smaller version of the tiki. This nicely detailed mug is shaped like a tiki with diamond-shaped eyes and one row of teeth visible between its lips. "Baby Kahuna" is printed on the back. There was only one of this "Ultra Rare" gold version, the others were yellow.

This unusual mug has a gold finish around the top edge, and fake leopard-print fur around the base. Tiki itself is black, with big teeth. This mug was sold only through M1 Gallery in Japan.
Schoontiki Mug

This unusual mug is a self-portrait created by designer Christie Wright, who is a particular fan of "schoon," or beautiful, a Dutch term for clean design. This was created for a private function, only around 50 were made. Tiki is all white, with eyelashes and large teeth, marked "Schoontiki" "Made for The Enchanted Luau 04-01 Brooklyn NY" on the bottom.

Mt. Bumatay

This mug/bowl is a reproduction of an obscure vintage item, and is named in tribute to artist/carver Andres Bumatay. It's single serving size, shaped like an inverted cone, supported by three fish-tikis, that look similar to designs from Bumatay. Color is unglazed dark gray-brown, with an orange/yellow glazed interior and rim. Marked "Mt. Bumatay", "Gecko" and with the Gecko logo recessed on front. There are varieties, such as Red Dirt, etc..., but this template is for the regular edition.
