Trader Vic's Big Shot Glass Red

This red glass with a gold metallic base was made by Imperial Glass Company for Trader Vic's. Morgantown Glass Company was occasionally contracted by Imperial Glass to produce these if their production line was at capacity. The glass has "BIG SHOT" embossed on the bottom and looks like a bullet casing. Was used for serving Gun Club Punch, today a ceramic version is used in the restaurants. The green colored glass was meant to match Winchester ammunition and this version in red glass was designed to match Remington shells.

This skull mug has a handle on the right side, eyes are deeply recessed but not hollow, details in mug are darkened. Marked "Orchids of Hawaii" "Japan" on the bottom.

This brownish-yellow & green pineapple mug (actually shaped a bit like a coconut) is produced by Daga, and the white area on the front of the mug is stamped with the Queen Kapiolani logo in blue. White interior.

This mug, designed by Stuckie of Munktiki, is a light blue stylized skull with a shag haircut. The mug has a large opening to put the drink in, and a smaller straw-hole to suck it back out again.

One of four mugs offered out of a $20 Munktiki vending machine at the 2005 Tiki Oasis V event in Palm Springs. The other three mugs were the Rum Barrel, Arrrr the Skull & Bones, and Baby Kahuna, and the four are designed to stack together. Each mug came with a matching pendant, this one was a doubloon. This nicely detailed mug is shaped like a parrot and colored in an appropriate parroty green, its eyes are "X"s. "Petey" is printed on the back.

One of four mugs offered out of a $20 Munktiki vending machine at the 2005 Tiki Oasis V event in Palm Springs. The other three mugs were the Rum Barrel, Arrrr the Skull & Bones, and Peaty the Parrot, and the four are designed to stack together. Each mug came with a matching pendant, this one was a smaller version of the tiki. This nicely detailed mug is shaped like a tiki with diamond-shaped eyes and one row of teeth visible between its lips, in a rich yellow color. "Baby Kahuna" is printed on the back.

Each mug came with a matching pendant, this one was a smaller version of the rum barrel. This nicely detailed mug is shaped like a rum barrel, complete with cork on the side and a label on the front printed "Rum".

This rum barrel mug has a rich brown glaze and wood-look details. Front is marked "Warehouse Restaurant" in raised letters.
The Warehouse Restaurant's Barrel of Rum cocktail is claimed by Beachbum Berry, in his cocktail book, Remixed, to simply be a re-named version of The Ankle Breaker.
The Ankle Breaker was created at the Swamp Room of the Francis Marion Hotel in Charleston, South Carolina, circa the 1950s.
Ankle Breaker: • 1 oz Amber 151 Proof Rum (Don Q) • 1 oz Cherry Heering • 1 oz Lemon Juice • 1/2 oz Simple Syrup
Shake with crushed ice and pour into a double old fashioned glass or a copper tankard (or, apparently a Warehouse rum barrel).
Harvey's Lake Tahoe Hula Girl Bowl Large

This is the larger size of hula girl bowl from Harvey's Lake Tahoe in Nevada, and uses the same design found in the smaller, single-serving hula girl bowl and the hula girl mug. White glazed pedestal bowl with painted palm tree, outrigger and hula girl, marked "Harvey's Lake Tahoe" on one side in black. OMC sticker on bottom.

This 1963 Trader Vic's mug was used for serving the Samoan Fog Cutter. Mug is tall and wider at the top and bottom, white with speckles, and shows a girl in a hula skirt, a girl playing a ukulele, and a reclining beach bum. Marked "Trader Vic's 1963" on the bottom. May have been manufactured by Redwing Potteries.
