The original "Tiki Bob" mug was created for Tiki Bob's in San Francisco, here the design is "borrowed" for the Pontchartrain Beach-Combers in New Orleans, which only a year after opening became Bali Ha'i at the Beach because of a lawsuit over the Beachcomber name.
Stamped on the side before the lawsuit verdict was reached, this is the first known piece from this location.
