I have conceptualized thousands of ride vehicles in my career in themed entertainment over the decades for Disney, Universal Studios, and boat loads of parks globally that are in progress, never made it to being built, and some that you may have ridden on! Six or seven years ago, I started pondering the idea of a theme park dedicated to Tiki . Some of it more 'fantasy' and some maybe more cultural and educational. This is a drink vessel shaped like the Nautilus submarine featured in Jules Verne's novels, Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea (1870) and The Mysterious Island (1874). The design was originally issued for the grand opening of Trader Sam's Grog Grotto at the Disney Polynesian Resort in Orlando, Florida. Measures 6" high by 14.5" long by 5.75" wide. The Nautilus Cocktail includes Barbancourt Pango Rum, Appleton Estate Reserve Rum, Combier's Crème de Pêche De Vigne, Tropical Juices, and Falernum.

As one would guess, this is a ceramic vessel shaped like the cauldron used by Ursula in the 1989 animated film, The Little Mermaid.

The central stem is wrapped in tentacles. Polyps are depicted around the bowl of the mug/bowl and on the sides of its internal structure. These polyps are the captured souls of former merpeople; they are seen near Ursula’s lair in the original film.

Also comes with a circular glow ball (pearl) that sits in center on what might otherwise be used for a lime shell to put lime or lemon extract in and light on fire.
