"This mug has been in the works for quite long time - as we had started working on it around the same time as its counterpart ‘Jade Chalice’ (circa 2020). Featuring a gold glazed chalice cup, supported by the base and ‘outriggers’ sculpted and glazed to resemble wood, this will surely stand out on your mug shelf! This mug holds about 20 oz (varies slightly mug to mug), is about 7 9/16 inches tall, and 8 3/16 inches wide from one outrigger head to the other. This small cup has variously been referred to as a "fruit cup", "soup bowl", or "bouillon bowl" although many tikiphiles used to seeing Chinese style table patterns may assume it is a teacup. By all accounts, however, the Tropics served American or European style cuisine, so teacup is unlikely.
