Omni Hut 50th Anniversary Mug - Brown

The Tikis featured on the Omni Hut Tiki mug are the same Tikis that were rendered for the Omni Huts original menu cover and are still on their menu to this day. They are tall, standing Ku Tikis, with open mouths and long headdresses. There are two colors of this mug. The first is the brown edition limited to 800 mugs and the second is the purple edition limited to 200 mugs.

London Beachcomber Flaming Grog Mug

This small Tiki mug has a big belly button, oval lips, and angular eyes. Different glaze colors have been seen, ranging from dark matte brown to lighter shades of matte brown. Lighter, sometimes white interior. This mug was used at The Beachcomber in the Mayfair Hotel at Berkeley Square, which is now the Radisson Edwardian May Fair Hotel. The design can also be seen on the front cover of the 1960s Beachcomber Dinner Menu. In period commercials available online, this mug and other matching pieces can be seen in use. Apparently two different potteries made this mug - Powell Pottery and Geoffrey Maund Pottery. The Powell Pottery pieces are not marked as such, but have "May Fair London" inscribed on bottom. The Geoffrey Maund pieces have his ink stamp on the bottom.

This Tiki mug is shaped like a Witco fountain design with concentric circles around the eyes. His hands are clasped together. Woodrow (aka Woody) is the event mug for the Fraternal Order of Moai's 2011 Ohana / Luau at the Lake, which was held June 23-26, 2011, at Lake George, NY. There is a regular edition of 100 and an artist proof edition of four that were made for the silent auction at the event.
