Weeki Wachee Springs is a natural tourist attraction located in Weeki Wachee, Florida, where underwater performances by "mermaids", women dressed with fins about their legs as well as other fancy outfits, can be viewed in an aquarium-like setting in the spring of the Weeki Wachee River. A waterpark, Buccaneer Bay, and boat rides are also part of the attraction.

This amber brown barrel-shaped mug is Siesta Ware. It has a handle attached to two brass bands that encircle the mug near the top and the bottom. The brown glass mug features several images in yellow, including a porpoise, a hula girl, deer, a performing seal, and a piano-playing bird. Porpoise Island was an 18-acre Hawaiian-themed amusement park. Every year, the owner would go to Hawaii to audition young entertainers to play at his park during the summer. The park featured a Polynesian revue, bird and porpoise shows, and a deer petting zoo. In the theme park's TV commercials there were women dressed in Hawaiian garb (grass skirts, bikini tops and leis) doing the hula.

This mug was sculpted by Kirby and manufactured by Taboo Island. The original Big Mo is the Moai carving just within the front door of the Tonga Hut. The mug is a faithful replica. The back of the mug reads "Tonga Hut" in vertical letters and gives the opening date of the bar, "1958." This Jade Green version with black interior was limited to 25 mugs.
