This is a mug shaped like a decaying grouper fish. It measures 11" long by 5" tall and was made in two color-ways: brown or green. Comes with a lidded top on head with straw hole and another straw hole in side. The Grouper is also known as the pugapo in the Visayan Islands and in New Zealand, "grouper" refers to a type of wreckfish, Polyprion oxygeneios, which goes by the Māori name hāpuku.

The Chinese Village Restaurant and Tavern was located on 415 Rideau St., Ottawa, Canada. It was owned by Kanny Ng and ran from approximately 1977-1984.
