The 2016 Hukilau was held June 8-12th, in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. This is a mug shaped like the head of a Papua New Guinea style Tiki with black head, white face, round eyes, and a small red tongue. It is based on a large standing Tiki that once lived in the garden area of the Mai-Kai. The Tiki can now be found behind the stage in the main dining room. Eekum Bookum sculpted and manufactured the mugs.

This pint glass was designed for The Mainlander restaurant in St. Louis, Missouri and its logo takes its design from the very stylized head of a tiki fountain designed by William Westenhaver and sold through his Witco company. There is also a rounded loball glass with the same design.

Blackbeard's Severed Head Hand Painted

This mug was designed and manufactured by THOR and is shaped like the severed head of Blackbeard the Pirate. He has braided hair and a braided beard, eyes rolling back in their sockets, and blood gushing from his mouth and from the stump of his neck. His head rests on a wooden post that can be seen on the back of the mug, and "R.I.P. Blackbeard" is carved into that post. Unlike the regular edition which has a brownish wipe-away glaze and some red "blood" from the mouth, this version is completely painted with black hair/beard and glossy eyes that appear eerily realistic.
