This very nice, small pineapple mug is from Kowloon restaurant in Saugus, Massachusetts. The pineapple is well defined and realistic, with shading in the paint, and a bright green leafy top on the lid. Marked "Kowloon Route 1 Saugus, Mass." in black on a field of white on the side of the pineapple.

This very nice pineapple mug was manufactured by Otagiri for Mark Thomas' Outrigger in Monterey, California. The pineapple is well defined, unglazed tan with a deep brown glazed crown of leaves. Marked "Mark Thomas' Outrigger" in black on the bottom.

This mug is a reproduction of the original Mr. Bali Hai, the mascot for the Bali Hai Restaurant in San Diego. This version of the mug was manufactured by Tiki Farm. Mr. Bali Hai is an oblong head with a bone through the nose and large white hoop earrings, with sleepily lidded eyes. The mug comes with a lid with two straw holes. Face is slightly more full than the original vintage mug.
