China Sails OMC Bug Eyed Moai

This mug by Otagiri was used at many restaurants, and is commonly called the Bug-Eyed Moai. This one is from Dave Wong's China Sails, a chain of Chinese restaurants in the Boston area. The mug is of a stylized moai, more narrow at the top, and having distinctive large, rounded eyeballs. The glaze is two-toned, with a beige overlaid with a darker streaky brown. The interior is white, base is white and concave.
