Strikow Kahlua Mayan With Crossed Hands Decanter

This decanter was a promotional item for Kahlua Liqueur. It features a Mayan figure who is standing on a pedestal with both hands crossed under his head. The figure is wearing a large ornate headdress. Glazed in a bone/beige color. Unlike the later green and brown Kahlua decanters that follow, this figure has a "Kahlua" label across bottom front (sometimes peeled off due to age) instead of molded lettering on front. There is a very similar decanter with different headrest, kneeling, with bowl under its mouth, which came out previously.

A Witco inspired world globe mug with orbiting wooden satellite. This is an "In the Lap of the Gods Tiki chalice. The base is comprised of four different Tiki gods that represent the islands of Hawaii, Raratonga, The Marquesas and Rapa Nui. The four different tapa patterns below the Tikis are also from each of those islands. The upper portion is the iconic Witco Globe, symbolizing that Tiki IS our world. High-fired stoneware made in the USA. The mug was designed by Doug Horne based on vintage Witco pieces and manufactured by Eekum Bookum (John and Janet Mulder).

This mug was designed by Devon Devereaux and manufactured by Munktiki Imports for the inaugural 2018 Golden OptimisTiki Market & Luau at Bali Hai in San Diego, CA. The proceeds went to youth charity fundraising for the Point Loma Optimist Club, part of Optimist International. The mug is based on Bali Hai's "Goof on the Roof." This version is glazed in brown but there is a gold crowned version as well.

According to the Shrunken Monkey site: "Found in a remote location deep in the heart of Polynesia, this Witch Doctor's Tiki was believed to prevent evil spirits from entering the village and bestow good luck on his tribe. Once colorful, the Tiki worked for may years till the Doctor displeased the gods, resulting in the village being burned turning the Tiki solid black."
