MST3K is a show that screens campy or just plain bad "B" grade films with voiceover commentary by the hosts, who crack jokes and make witty observations during the screening. Joel Hodgson led a Kickstarter crowdfunded revival of this series with 14 episodes for its eleventh season, released on Netflix on April 14, 2017. This Kickstarter incentive mug was part of that crowdfunding campaign. It was labeled as a coffee mug but doesn't really look like one without a handle, which makes it less suited to hot drinks. Plus, even in the original Kickstarter description they refer to it as a "sort of tiki-tribute mug" because of its resemblance to a coconut mug. It is supposed to be the moon with the show's letters etched into the surface.
