I’ve been working on 'Rolli' for awhile now (name inspired by one of my heroes!). A few years back I did a comic titled 'Luni' to test out some wood carved islander characters I’d been working on out in the Woodshop. I’m not sure how many people have read this story or picked up a copy of #whenishighmoon anthology. 'Luni' was a fun play of 'Looney' and 'Lunar'. I imagine one day I’ll share more of these characters and world so stay tuned. For now check out this first little adventure! This is a classic standing Lono mug with tall headdress, figure-eight mouth lined with theeth, and a bulbous squat nose.

This is a shot glass that was originally thrown on the pottery wheel and then carved. There is no production mold for these shot glasses. Each one in individually made on the potter's wheel and then carved. Each one is different and unique.

This is a low fire mug with a carving of a tiki face.

This mug was originally made in 2004 on a pottery wheel and then copied in a plaster cast for slipcast production.

It is a production of 50 that began in 2022, the first one being sold at the Hukilau, June 9-12th, 2022 conference in South Florida.

This mug is one in a series of mugs by Rob with natives (Menehunes) holding masks in front of their faces.

The mask on this one is based on an image from an old Disney ad.

Inspired by both the tropical cocktail 'The Suffering Bastard' created by Bartender Joe Scialom as well as Pascal the charming chameleon companion in the movie 'Tangled'.

Each mug is glazed by hand with a mixture of underglazes and specialty glazes. Due to the nature of ceramic glazes: each mug, there are slight variations that makes each one unique!

This is a Halloween skull version of the Virgin Coconut design earlier released in 2020 by Tonga Hut.
