This is a mid-mod version of the classic Suffering Bastard mug used at Trader Vic's and elsewhere. There was a matte black and a matte white produced. The interiors were also glazed in a choice of different colors (green or orange mod color gloss glazes). Stoneware.
HipHip's Bird of Paradise Bowl

HipHip's Bird of Paradise Bowl was a custom piece conceived of by Kelly Reilly (aka Hiphipahula) and designed and produced by Rick Henderson (aka Babalu). The bowl is surrounded by four figures shaped like Portuguese men-of-war. The tentacles are enveloping human faces. The lid on each man-of-war is shaped like the head of a bird with red, yellow and orange feathers and an open beak. There is a straw hole at the top of the head. The bowl has sixteen different glazes. There is also a matching mug.
Yipwan Bowl Custom

The Yipwan bowl was designed and produced by Babalu in 2009. The bowl is supported by six Yipwan figures. Glazes and decorations vary on the custom pieces. Babalu also did limited edition Yipwan drum mugs using this same supporting figure.

This is a fog cutter shaped mug with the bar's signature sea turtle emblem on the front. Wahtiki Island Lounge was opened in Central Hong Kong in January 2017 by owner Philip Lee. Lee's father, Shi Wah Lee, worked for Trader Vic's for many years, including managing the London Trader Vic's during the '70s-'90s, and later helping Trader Vic's open locations around Europe and the Middle East. The "Wah" in the bar's name is from She Wah Lee and a stylized version in Chinese script is shown on the sea turtle's back on the front of this mug. This mug depicts an underwater tiki laying on the ocean floor with fossils and undersea life (and a skull in the mouth). This is the Super Limited edition that was glazed with a gray/stone tiki head and the undersea life picked out in purple and orange. There is also a Standard Edition with an overall light teal blue coloring and small accents of green and maroon for undersea life.

WhistlePig Winston Mug

This mug is shaped like a slightly tikified version of Winston the pig, the mascot for WhistlePig whiskey. Winston is a mash-up of the company founder's pet pig, Mortimer and of his personal hero, Winston Churchill. So, it is basically a standing pig dressed like Churchill. Both this mug and the Sugar Shack cocktail below were issued as part of a promotional campaign called "The Summer of Tiki" in summer 2019 but the mug appeared on their Facebook page as early as December 2019. Although created by GeekiTikis, this mug was sold exclusively through WhistlePig's website store and given to marketing people to distribute to bars and other locations.
