Doug combined inspiration from Witco hanging lamps and antique Asian lanterns into a unique drinking vessel that literally glows from within. Each mug comes with an LED light in its base and an LED ice cube to light up your drink. Marquesan inspired etchings grace the sides of the mug which is glazed in chocolate brown with a hand-painted copper green patina and has a real bamboo handle attached. There is also a first edition that was glazed in jade green.

This is a mug shaped like a rum barrel and marked for Plantation Rum with its distinctive "netting" wrapped around the barrel as well. The idea is that in tropical climes the netting provides a non-slip grip. Mug also has some tropical plants around the exterior. Brown wipe-away glaze makes all the sculptural details pop, but leaves an overall beige color to piece.

2018 Port Light Ceramic Gold Rim Modern

This ceramic red hiball with gold painted details was made in Thailand for Trader Vic's. It is a later version of the glass Port Light hiball. An earlier version of this ceramic design with gold details was made by Imperial Imports in 1979. They also made a version with a black rim, rather than gold. Trader Vic's also used a companion glass, a green Starboard Light Glass, and there is a modern version of that design as well.

Blue Ridge Mountains shown around bottom rim and marked for the Virginia Distillery Company on back. Virginia Distillery Company is a single malt whisky distillery located amongst the Blue Ridge Mountains in Nelson County, Virginia. A blue version of this mug was produced for 2018.
