Kuroshio Drifter in Gulf Stream Green

This is a ceramic mug shaped like two glass fish floats with cork spacers. The mug gets its name from the Pacific Ocean current where these adrift floats often spend decades swirling around before being swept up in other ocean currents prior to washing up on shore. This mug is part of the Caliente Collection, which is produced by Eekum Bookum and in this case designed by Doug Horne. Released at the 2016 Tiki Caliente on May 12th-15th in Palm Springs. Only 30 were created in Gulf Stream Green. Other colors were made, including "Pacific Blue" and "Red Tide" in batches of 30 as well.

Hula-Hiki Planter

Hula-Hiki was designed by Sam Gambino for KC Co in 2009 as a mug, but this planter is a single color light blue rendition in larger size. He is a full-body tiki with his hands together just under his head. He has round eyes, a broad nose and a wide, toothy grin. There is a ceramic spacer in the bottom to hold a plant pot. This planter was part of a larger release of 2014 Home Depot Tiki-related items, some based on vintage and some on more modern designs.
