Sunken Skull with Brain Coral - Sea Foam Green With Black Wash Edition - by Darick Maasen - for Undertow
aka The Last Remains of Timms - Sea Foam Green With Black Wash Edition - by Darick Maasen & Munktiki - for Undertow in 4 collections
Designed by Dino Fish Tiki (Darick Maasen) and sculpted/manufactured by Munktiki.
This was a slowly evolving run of 100 of very similarly glazed versions to the AP and was put out slowly a few at a time by Munktiki.
The AP is probably distinguished by markings on bottom but hard to tell otherwise.
The Limited Edition of 100 is described by Rich, from Undertow here:
"I conceptualized and collaborated with Darick Maasen to draw this mug in 2019 for Chapter Seven of the Captain Mallory Saga. Chapter Seven barely set sail before being cut short due to government shutdowns in 2020. The mug saw a very limited release in a large format produced by Miles Nielsen of MunkTiki, at that time the mug was named "The Brain Coral Skull" and sold for $200 each."
A scaled-down version in green, known as "The Last Remains of Timms" was issued in 2024, selling for $85 each.
The Last Remains of Timms - Green Wipe Edition - by Darick Maasen & Tiki Farm - for Undertow
aka Sunken Skull With Brain Coral - Green Wipe Edition - by Darick Maasen & Tiki Farm - for Undertow in 6 collections
Rich From Undertow:
"Who is Timms you may ask?
Join us at UnderTow for a cocktail and ask one of our local legends to tell the tale Timms and why you should Never Drink From a Skull!
I conceptualized and collaborated with Darick Maasen to draw this mug in 2019 for Chapter Seven of the Captain Mallory Saga. Chapter Seven barely set sail before being cut short due to government shutdowns in 2020. The mug saw a very limited release in a large format produced by Miles Nielsen of MunkTiki, at that time the mug was named 'The Brain Coral Skull' and sold for $200 each.
A couple years ago we partnered with Tiki Farm to retool and scale the mug down for a large production run and it has finally arrived. This mug is available immediately for purchase online and will be available to purchase in person at both UnderTow locations June 25th. I will be at the Gilbert location during happy on the 25th drinking from 'The Last Remains of Timms' and sharing the legend with anyone who cares to join!
Cheers to all,
Rich from UnderTow"
*As discussed above, there was a prior AP and edition of 100 of this design in a larger format and called "The Brain Coral Skull" or "Sunken Skull With Brain Coral" and glazed in a sea foam green with black wash.
