in 0 collections
This mug seems inspired by the Nkondi (Perhaps with a face leaning more toward the Zuni Fetish Warrior Doll from the third and final portion of the Trilogy of Terror horror film, released in 1975).
The Nkondi are religious idols made by the Kongo people of the Congo region. The name nkondi derives from the verb -konda, meaning “to hunt” and thus nkondi means “hunter” because they can hunt down and attack wrong-doers, witches, or enemies. These idols are characterized by the curse nails which are hammered into their torsos and backs.
In his hand, he also appears to be holding a spiky hammer of sorts. His mouth is lined with sharp teeth and on his chest is a small box holding a skull.

"Sculpted by Patrick Vassar and produced by Monkeyskull. The mug stands almost 7 inches tall, the base of the mug is 3 inches wide by 3 inches deep, and holds approximately 13.5 ounces of liquid. Chocolate Bar Edition in a Dark Brown Matte finish."
