His amazing art was heavily influenced by his time stationed in the South Pacific as well as the influx of Polynesian culture post WWII. These designs were passed down to William's granddaughter and grandson in law, Heather and Ken Pleasant over 20 years ago. Ken continues to carve the wonderful figures to this day.
