aka Misfits Mug - Second Edition - by Tiki Farm - for Yesterdays, Fiend Mug in 0 collections
The Misfits are an American punk rock band often recognized as the pioneers of the horror punk subgenre, blending punk and other musical influences with horror film themes and imagery. The group was founded in 1977 in Lodi, New Jersey, by vocalist, songwriter and keyboardist Glenn Danzig. This is the second in a series of limited edition mugs depicting the Misfits "Fiend". This mug features black and bone colors with red blood splatters across the face, and was one of 138 produced in October of 2023 for a special event at Stowaway Tiki Bar in California. Marquesan Tiki Mug - For Undertow and Hidden Harbor Collaboration - Hidden Harbor Edition - by Eekum Bookum
in 1 collection
From Hidden Harbor:
"Debuting this Saturday at 5 p.m. is the Harbor-specific glaze edition of our collaboration mug with UnderTow in Phoenix, designed and made by John Mulder of Eekum Bookum. Only 100 mugs were made in this limited glaze combination, including a dozen or so with a metallic-gold fish, randomly sprinkled throughout the run.
John's design nods to the nautical themes present at both UnderTow and Hidden Harbor and takes the form of a Gulf Coast dock piling that's been carved in the manner of a Marquesan-Tahitian tiki support pole at historic Polynesian restaurants like the Mai-Kai, across the state in Fort Lauderdale.
As fate would have it, John and his team in St. Pete finished up this project right as Hurricane Helene was bearing down on Florida’s west coast. We know that the Tampa Bay area now faces a long road to recovery from the destruction of the hurricane, as does much of the Southeast, and in an effort to assist in our small way, we will be donating a portion of all proceeds from sales of this mug to the American Red Cross’s hurricane relief efforts throughout the affected area."
