Confucianism is characterized by its humanistic philosophy that human beings are teachable, improvable, and perfectible through personal and communal endeavor especially self-cultivation and self-creation. In pop culture, Confucius is often cited through aphorisms that may or not be genuinely attributable to his teachings. For example: "Choose a job you love, and you will never work a day in your life." Or, less convincingly genuine: "Man who sit on tack get point." Confucious is depicted as a robed standing figure with long beard.
