Munktiki Maori Mug Day Of Gold Edition

This is a full bodied Maori inspired Tiki mug squatting on a decorated base with open fisted hands in front ready to hold garnishes or swizzle sticks. The limited edition was available in several glaze colors (including gloss red and black, gloss brown, matte beige, matte turquoise, and gloss blue and green). There is also a super limited edition in redwood brown with red detailing. This version was issued on Saturday July 18, 2015 from 6 AM to 10 PM as part of the random "Day of Gold" where different gold glazed versions of Munktiki designs were made available throughout the day -- similar to the Black Friday event hosted previously.

This is a set of brown salt and pepper shakers shaped like Tangaroan Tikis with their faces detailed in black. "Kia orana" means "Hello" in the Cook Island language. These shakers were designed and distributed by Hansen & Berry, a company based in Auckland, New Zealand.

This is a mug shaped like a large bellied Tangaroa Tiki. It is the same design as Tiki Farm's Tangaroa Chiminea. The original version was glazed in brown. This version is glazed in blue and marked for the Ohana Luau On The Island.
Munktiki Wahine Volcano Bowl

The bowl is supported by three very stylized wahines and has two tiki masks on the outside of the bowl. The bowl itself is about 3/8 thick and textured to look like stone. Inside of the bowl is a smooth, cone shaped volcano that is approximately 4 tall. The bowl has green, brown and red glazes inside. This is one of the larger bowls that Paul was making during that period.

This is a three part set. The first part is a brown mug shaped like a Ku Tiki head with squinting eyes and a bow-shaped grin revealing large square teeth. The mug sits in the second part, a silver glazed UFO shaped bowl with four straw holes. Over the top fits a bell-jar styled glass canopy. The bowl holds 50 oz and the mug holds 25 oz for a total of 75 oz. The second edition is available in a variety of glaze colors.
