Alberta's Hobbyist Molds Pirate Decanter

This is a decanter shaped like a pirate with a skull & crossbones on his hat, holding a pistol, and standing over a treasure chest. Marked "RUM" on front base. This is one in a series of decanters made from Alberta's Molds and themed for different spirits (i.e., a Scotsman in kilt for Scotch, a Kentucky Colonel for Bourbon, an Asian Rice Farmer for Sake, etc...). These molds were supplied (and still are) for the amateur ceramicist. As hobbyist pieces, glaze color and decoration varies.

This glass was created for serving Hot Buttered Rum. The glass is white milk glass, with a handle on the side, and a pedestal base. "Hot Buttered Rum" is printed on the side in black and it has several panels around exterior with close-up pictures of flowers. Same shape as the white and frosted Trader Vic's Hot Buttered Rum glasses but doesn't say "Trader Vic's."

This surfer girl bowl was created by OMC and used at the Aku Aku in Las Vegas, Nevada. The surfer girl is brown, with a red skirt, and is surfing on blue waves, with a white background. The girl has two yellow fish swimming along side. Coldpainted red details. Bottom is flat, and has an OMC sticker.

A standing hula girl in a slit dress. Though primarily brown, this figure has white crackle glaze details, including her dress, a flower tucked behind one ear, and a flower lei around her neck (this figure was recast in a more portable size for tourists). Treasure Craft produced other similarly glazed lines in different themes, including a Calypso and a Matador line as well.
