Moko Moai Kiwi Green

Moko Moai is a replica of an original Benzart sculpture. It is Ben’s vision of a hybrid version of an Easter Island Moai and a Maori Tiki, evidenced by the traditional heavy Maori tattooing (also known as “Moko”). "Kiwi Green" exterior and red interior glaze. Moko Moai is further embellished with a 1.75" fishhook pendant cast in resin.
Gremlins Tiki Mug Candy Cane by MONDO

Gremlins is a 1984 American comedy horror film directed by Joe Dante and released by Warner Bros. The film is about a young man who receives a strange creature called a "Mogwai" as a pet, which then spawns other creatures (gremlins) who transform into small, destructive, evil monsters. The best known of these more destructive versions is a gremlin named Stripe, who served as the model for this mug. Designed by artist Michael Bonanno and sculpted by Ramirez Studios. Manufactured by Mondo, which is known for their screen printed posters and other collectibles. The brown glaze version was available for sale only at Alamo Draft House locations in and around Austin, Texas, during the December 6th showing of Gremlins (admission with mug was $37). Mondo produced this design in a few other color-ways as well (a Green general release unlimited version, the "Candy Cane" version limited to 250 pieces, and this greenish brown "Microwave Melt" version limited to 100 pieces) only available on their website. This Gremlins mug is their first design of an intended line of pop culture influenced Tiki Mugs under the banner of Mondo Tee-Kis.

This large lidded rum barrel mug was produced by Munktiki for Smuggler's Cove's 8th Anniversary in San Francisco, CA. The barrel is brown with bronze/dark gold bands. White lettering. Removable lid has straw hole in top. Released in an edition of 100 on December 10th, 2017.

This is a double old fashioned glass featuring artwork of a couple of mermaids, a tiki, a giant octopus, and a submarine with man in diving suit. The artwork is by Tiki tOny and marked "Tiki tOny." There is also a version with pink lettering and graphics.
Tiki Caliente 9 Event Mug Custom For Art Show

This is a mug shaped like a male menehune standing atop a Tiki head and playing a ukulele. He has a mustache and is wearing a flower lei.
The menehune design was inspired by vintage United Airlines menehune statues and decanters which portray the same older, mustached character.
This mug version was originally designed by Doug Horne and manufactured by Eekum Bookum (John and Janet Mulder). A standard edition was available only to attendees. This is an even more exclusive smaller edition of pieces (22) customized by different artists, displayed at an Art Show, and sold through silent auction at the event.
As these are custom, each one is unique, ranging from a masked version by Tiki tOny to a mischievous blow dart hunter version by THOR (Tom Thordarson). Other artists included Sam Gambino, Doug Horne, MP (Michael Parton), Big Toe (Tom Laura), Christine Benjamin, Bamboo Ben, John Mulder, Janet Mulder, Sophista-Tiki (Dawn Frasier), Matt Reese, Kymm! Bang, Megan Besmirched, Woody Miller, Crazy Al, Dave Warsaw, The Boozy Doodler, Norm Daniels, Michael Fleming, and Eric October. Although the above 21 artists were named in the exhibit's description, it's not clear that all 21 were actually exhibited at the show (even though they signed up) but there is evidence of 18 mugs having been displayed with two being painted by Big Toe (Tom Laura). So, there were definitely no more than 22 exhibited, but possibly as few as 18.
Zombie Glass - Purple & Blue by Derek Yaniger for Tonga Hut

This is a hiball or "zombie" glass featuring artwork for the Tonga Hut by Derek Yaniger and marked "Derek Yaniger." It features images from inside the Tonga Hut with a zombie kane playing a drum, a zombie wahine serving a platter of brains, and a beatnik zombie in striped shirt staggering past a slightly zombified-looking Moai. There is a full set of four glasses with the same image in four different color-combinations. Each three-color combination includes black, but are distinguished as: Red & Green, Light Blue & Salmon Pink, Hot Pink & Orange, and Purple & Blue.

This is a mug shaped like a skull-like cyclops head with maori moko tattoos. Available in both a "Ghastly Green" and black. There is a sort of horn or breathing spout on forehead that might serve as either a straw hole or as a sort of pour spout.
Never Say Die Mutant Skull Super Limited Halloween Edition

This is a strangely elongated skull in bright orange glaze with black wipe-away details, black eye sockets and mouth. It belonged to the character Sloth from the film "The Goonies" which was shot in Astoria where Munktiki is located. Also, the Goonies motto is "Never Say Die!" Additionally, "Never Say Die" is an actual Tiki drink from Don the Beachcombers, circa 1960's and reproduced by BeachBum Berry in his Total Tiki app. This is the first of the offerings associated with Munktiki's Astoria based tiki bar, Dead Man's Isle, and 50% of sales go towards the opening of the bar.
