Tree-climbing devilfish roam the forested highlands of Inuhele Island, so our intrepid artists captured one hugging his pineapple friend. Who is grumpy.
This year's mug is in the style of pineapple mug, suitable for filling with all kinds of delicious-ness....I'm a sucker for Stiggens Extra Fancy and Dole Whip, myself."

aka Cobra's Fang - by Makatiki in 4 collections
This is a new take on the traditional Cobra's Fang style of mug first made popular at Don the Beachcomber's and Tonga Lei by Vermonde and later with Spurlin at the Los Angeles Islander. The cobra twines around the mug, which is wood-grained like a trunk or branch, and the snake's head arches over the top of the rim.
Some of this design first went into use at the Nu Lounge Bar in Bologna, Italy. Those versions also had a small plaque on the front reading "Cobra". The ones shown in the Makatiki online storefront do not.
