Tiki Mugs
Pineapple King - Amber Stain - The Classics Collection - by Tank Standing Buffalo - for Tiki Farm
in 8 collections
This is a mug shaped like a Lono tiki with tall headdress that incorporates a pineapple. This version is in an amber stain and there is one in a brown stain as well.
From the Tiki Farm website:
"'The Pineapple King', the Hawaiian Tiki God Lono, is the inspiration here with a simplified version of its classic headdress but with one addition – the inclusion of a pineapple. The pineapple itself is the Hawaiian symbol for 'Welcome'. We thought that having a sculpted welcoming element included in our new Lono-inspired mug would simply add a bit of levity to the design as well as an added storyline allowing you to explain to your friends the welcoming nature of the pineapple in Hawaiian culture."

We’ve experienced a perfect storm of a pandemic, compounded by prolonged political inaction, and it’s taken absolutely everything in our and others’ powers to simply weather that storm. In tribute to the fighting spirit that’s powered our team to this point - and with your incredible support, will propel us to distant shores - we present to you our “Weathering the Storm” mug, designed and produced by the great @mulder142 in St. Petersburg, Florida.
The mug depicts Tangaroa, the fabled fisherman god of Rarotonga in the Cook Islands, stoically steering his ship through stormy seas. With a Witco-esque captain’s wheel and stacked fish at his feet, he cuts a handsome figure on a shelf and serves as a fitting memento of this trying time in all of our lives.
Only 100 mugs were made in this limited glaze-edition, and will be available first to dine-in guests at the release THIS Saturday, January 30, $125 apiece, limit one per guest. Remaining mugs will be held for the anniversary event the following Saturday, with any remaining after that going online on Tuesday, February 9 (info to follow).
Many mahalos to all for your support the past five years, and especially over the last one. We wouldn’t still be here without you, and we look forward to celebrating our shared milestone with you all."
