This is a mug shaped like the carved wooden head of a sea captain with a cigar in his mouth. He is colored in traditional mahogany brown with blue eyes and a blue and white hat.
This was preceded by a Full Color Edition with white beard and a Low Tide Edition of Captain Carver that has weathered gray look from being exposed to the tides. Both were limited to 25 pieces.
A full color Blue Beard Edition was also released at the same time as the Traditional Mahogany version, and limited to 12 pieces.

Marked "MOTEL AND RESTAURANT ON THE MOUNTAIN Suffern, NY" on reverse with phone number. There is also a mug and a scorpion bowl from the same location with the same graphic in a matte white & brown.

This mug is modeled after a Barney West tiki carving that lives out front of Trader Vic's in Emeryville, California.
Woody Miller was commissioned to create these mugs for the "Tiki Dreams: From Far-Away Fantasy to Pop-Culture Phenomenon" exhibit at the Napa Valley Museum in Yountville from May 20th - December 31st.
Curated by Baby Doe & Otto von Stroheim of Tiki Oasis, this exhibition illuminated California’s leading role in creating and defining Tiki as an American pop-culture phenomenon, showcasing artifacts from Northern California Tiki bars and restaurants, many of which had never been exhibited before. Works by contemporary Tiki artists were also featured, celebrating the movement’s enduring influence and exciting future.
